How much does it cost to attend the Super Bowl?

The Super Bowl is just around the corner and while we don’t yet know who will be playing, we’re getting there too.

This year Super Bowl 57 takes place in Glendale, AZ on Sunday, Feb. 12.

How much will it cost to go to the Super Bowl?

According to Forbes, if you plan on going you should budget about 9,000 for the trip … ouch! They break down the expenses you’ll need as the following:

  • Game Tickets $5,911
  • Hotel (3 nights) $1,725
  • Meals and Drinks (4 days) $500
  • Roundtrip Airfare $375 (minimum depending on where you are coming from)
  • Car Rental (4 days) $340

Total $8,726

Keep in mind that ticket costs could double or triple depending on how many seats you need and how close to the field you want to be. But your hotel costs could be lower if you are splitting with friends.

According to StubHub, the cheapest ticket at press time for the Super Bowl is $5,000 for just 1 seat, and needless to say, it’s not a good seat. So hopefully you already have your seats.
