The NBA All-Star festivities continue on Saturday night with the 3-point contest, skills competition, and slam dunk contest. Here are the results from each contest.

NBA All-Star weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah officially kicked off on Friday, Feb. 17. On the opening night, New Orleans Pelicans guard Alvarado won the Rising Stars MVP after he helped Team Pau Gasol defeat Team Joakim Noah in the Finals, and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf won the Celebrity Game MVP after his performance led Team Dwayne Wade to a victory over Team Ryan Smith. That was the appetizer for NBA All-Star Weekend. Now, the big competitions are set to take place.

On Saturday night, Vivint Arena will host three competitions — the Skills Challenge, the 3-Point Contest, and the Slam Dunk Contest.

For those who want to know what the final results were for each competition, we have you covered.

NBA Slam Dunk Contest results

Last year’s edition of the Slam Dunk Contest was universally criticized due to the amount of misses from the four competitors. The hope is that the 2023 Slam Dunk Contest will be able to exceed the bar set by last year’s competition.

Five judges will issue scores for each competitor between 40 and 50. They will then receive an average score for each dunk. After two dunks in the first round, the players with the two highest composite scores will advance to the finals. From there, the individual with the highest score from their two dunks in the finals will be declared the winner.

Here are the four competitors in the Slam Dunk Contest:

  • Mac McLung, Philadelphia 76ers
  • Kenyon Martin Jr., Houston Rockets
  • Jericho Sims, New York Knicks
  • Trey Murphy III, New Orleans Pelicans

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, McClung is listed as the odds-on favorite to win the Slam Dunk Contest with -100 as of this writing.
