After years of will they, won’t they, fights being canceled last minute, and a whole lot of social media abuse hurled at each other, it finally appears that Jake Paul (6-0, 4 KOs) and Tommy Fury (8-0, 4 KOs) will clash this Sunday, Feb. 26, live from the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia. The fight pits two of the most controversial and polarizing figures in modern boxing, with both men looking to prove themselves in the highest-profile fight of their young boxing careers. Paul comes in after defeating former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva by unanimous decision back in October 2022, whilst Fury won a points decision back in April in a card where his brother, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, defended his belt successfully.

There will always be questions and doubters surrounding the YouTube sensation Jake Paul, with the legitimacy of his boxing record always being questioned given that he is yet to fight a professional boxer. Fury not only offers that for Paul but also brings in the highly coveted Fury name, a name that Tommy runs the risk of losing if he does not pick up the win over Paul according to his brother. Reputations, a spot in the WBC rankings, and a further ascend into the limelight are all at play for when the bell rings.

The co-main event promises to be just as exciting for boxing fans, with WBC cruiserweight champion Ilunga Makabu (29-2, 25 KOs) putting his title on the line against former WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack (27-3-3, 15 KOs).
