The Titans are reportedly working on a trade to move up to No. 3 in the NFL Draft while also getting Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

The opening picks of the 2023 NFL Draft remain full of intrigue, even if it’s pretty clear to everyone and their mother that the Panthers are taking Bryce Young at No. 1.

That’s because no one seems to know what the Texans will do at No. 2 and the Cardinals seem desperate to trade down from No. 3 while multiple teams have the incentive to leap up for a quarterback.

With only a couple of hours left until the picks start coming in, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported news of a potential blockbuster trade in the works. If finalized, it would surely end in the Titans getting their franchise quarterback and a top-tier wide receiver to throw to.

“Hearing Cardinals are trying to send No. 3 overall and DeAndre Hopkins to Titans for No. 11 pick plus more,” Florio tweeted.

Conflicting reports emerge over DeAndre Hopkins in Titans-Cardinals draft day trade

Before Titans fans get too excited about that one, there are conflicting reports.

Ian Rapoport shot down the idea of Hopkins being involved in trade talks between the Cardinals and the Titans.

“While the #Titans have had conversations about a potential trade up to No. 3 — among other spots — they have not had conversations centered around star WR DeAndre Hopkins, source said,” Rapoport tweeted at 6:02 p.m. ET, 10 minutes after Florio.

So now it comes down to who you believe. One way or another we’ll all find out soon enough. The NFL Draft begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Titans and Cardinals only have so much time to get a deal done.
