The high of 62 degrees and low of 57 remains the same, with the wind in the same consistent 10-20 mph range throughout the day. The rain should subside with just drizzles later in the day and into the night.
Saturday, July 22 weather forecast for Hoylake
There is an 88% chance of rain during the day for what should be moving day at The Open Championship. The wind should continue to blow 10-20 mph trhought the day. The good news about the rain, though, is that it’s only light showers predicted, meaning that play should continue and the golfers on the course will simply have to battle some tough conditions. The high bumps up to 64 degrees with the low moving up to 60.
Sunday, July 23 weather forecast for Hoylake
Golf fans will see the high move up to 65 degrees but the light rain showers will persist with a 75% chance of precipitation for the day. The winds will actually lessen slightly on Sunday for a 10-15 mph breeze during the day and that lowers to 5-10 mph in the evening. Again, the rain should not be substantial, just making for a bit of a wet finish to the tournament.
