Nick Ward has been studying martial arts for over 20 years. He holds a third degree black belt in Kempo Karate, and has also trained in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He brings this experience to his analysis of the latest news and fights going on in the world of combat sports.Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Nick graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Communications, with a minor in English in 2016.Pursuing his passion for the sport of MMA, Nick moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he attended the College of Sports Media, receiving a diploma in Radio and Television Sports Broadcasting in 2018.
