Although Brice Turang and the National League-best Milwaukee Brewers look to complete a sweep of Ronald Acuña Jr. and the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves on Sunday night, they won’t be doing so on their home turf at American Family Field.
Instead, the Brewers are the designated home team in the 2026 Little League Classic, a nationally televised event at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pa. Players participating in the Little League World Series will have an up-close view of a potential playoff preview between arguably the sport’s best teams — depending on how concerned you are about the Dodgers, of course.
The festivities truly kicked off on Sunday afternoon, when the Brewers’ plane arrived in Williamsport. Players from the Dominican Republic and Hamilton, Ohio, Little League teams joined the Brewers on their bus to the Little League International Complex.

The Little League Classic began in 2017, with the Pittsburgh Pirates hosting the rival St. Louis Cardinals. Major League Baseball introduced the game not only as a yearly standalone event, but also as a way to capitalize on the LLWS itself.
All of the eight previous Little League Classic games (the 2020 event was canceled because of the COVID pandemic) have taken place at Historic Bowman Field. As one would imagine, the Little League Classic always occurs during the Little League World Series.

How can I watch the 2026 MLB Little League Classic?
The 2026 MLB Little League Classic will air on ESPN, and the game is not blacked out in local markets. Additionally, ESPN2 will air an “alumni-cast” featuring multiple former LLWS participants, including former Reds All-Star third baseman Todd Frazier and ex-Blue Jays infielder Devon Travis.
As of August 2026, Little League estimates that over 70 MLB players have participated in the Little League World Series. Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger is among the five active LLWS alumni.
