Day 2 of the MLB Winter Meetings was certainly more eventful than Day 1 — that's for sure. On Monday, we didn't learn the fate of some of baseball's top free agents and trade targets, but we got two massive dominos to fall on Tuesday with Kyle Schwarber agreeing to a five-year deal to return to the Philadelphia Phillies while Edwin Diaz spurned the Mets to join the back-to-back champion Los Angeles Dodgers. And that's before we even get into the moves we're hearing could happen.
The Winter Meetings are starting to wind down, but after such a quiet Day 1 and then a far more eventful but still not jam-packed Day 2, MLB could be setting us up for one heck of a main course to finish out the meetings in Orlando this week.
