After a massive Week 15 that erased a lot of drama from the NFL playoff picture, the NFL is again spreading out its content ahead of Week 16. The Thursday night game between the Rams and Seahawks was the best matchup of the week but the Sunday slate took a hit with FOX pulling two games for a standalone Saturday doubleheader, including a huge nightcap at Soldier Field that could swing the NFC North race.
There are still 11 games on tap for Sunday afternoon, including a big Steelers-Lions tilt in Detroit that could influence the little postseason drama remaining in both conferences, but what action will be available in your area? Read on to find that out, as well as who is calling each game, with a look at the latest NFL TV Coverage Maps from the fine folks over at 506 Sports.
NFL Week 16 TV Coverage Maps
Sunday, Dec. 21
FOX (Singleheader)

- Los Angeles Chargers (10-4) At Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1) (Red): Adam Amin, Drew Brees
- Minnesota Vikings (6-8) At New York Giants (2-12) (Green): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7) At Carolina Panthers (7-7) (Yellow): Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth
- Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4) At Denver Broncos (12-2) (Blue, 4:05 p.m. ET): Kevin Kugler, Daryl Johnston
- Atlanta Falcons (5-9) At Arizona Cardinals (3-11) (Orange, 4:05 p.m. ET): Jason Benetti, Brady Quinn
FOX's doubleheader on Saturday will draw the top two crews, meaning it is regional action on Sunday with the network opting to send a potentially eliminated Cowboys team hosting the Chargers to most markets for their lone game. There are two potentially huge games for the postseason picture, Bucs-Panthers and Jaguars-Broncos, on the slate but they are mostly going to local markets.
CBS (Early Window)

- Buffalo Bills (10-4) At Cleveland Browns (3-11) (Red): Ian Eagle, J.J. Watt
- Kansas City Chiefs (6-8) At Tennessee Titans (2-12) (Blue): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
- Cincinnati Bengals (4-10) At Miami Dolphins (6-8) (Green): Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
- New York Jets (3-11) At New Orleans Saints (4-10) (Yellow): Tom McCarthy, Ross Tucker
The NFL's decision to flex out Bengals-Dolphins from Sunday Night Football wrecked havoc on CBS' early window for the doubleheader, which has only one team still in playoff contention in Buffalo, who are heavily favored to pummel Cleveland. That game will go to most of the country in what may be the worst 1:00 window of the season.
CBS (Late Window)

- Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6) At Detroit Lions (8-6) (Red): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
- Las Vegas Raiders (2-12) At Houston Texans (9-5) (Blue): Andrew Catalon, Charles Davis, Jason McCourty
CBS' day is salvaged with a huge doubleheader game at 4:25 between two desperate teams in Pittsburgh and Detroit, which will go to the vast majority of the country. Raiders-Texans serves as the undercard and will only be going to the home markets, Indianapolis and Jacksonville.
Sunday Night Football (NBC)
- New England Patriots (11-3) At Baltimore Ravens (7-7): Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth
The NFL wisely flexed in a huge Patriots-Ravens matchup to Sunday night, allowing the country to get another look at a rising New England team against a Baltimore side desperately trying to remain in the AFC North hunt. This game marked the first time this season the NFL has flexed out a primetime matchup.
Monday, Dec. 22
Monday Night Football (ESPN/ABC)
- San Francisco 49ers (10-4) At Indianapolis Colts (8-6): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
The final game of Week 16 comes in Indianapolis as Philip Rivers makes his first start in Indianapolis since 2020 as the Colts try to keep their playoff hopes alive against the red-hot 49ers, who have won four straight games. There will be no Manningcast this week as Peyton and Eli are off until Week 18.
