World Cup final 2014: Argentina wearing navy blue kits

On Sunday afternoon, all eyes in the sport’s world will be on the iconic Estádio Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup final as Argentina looks to become the first team to stop the powerhouse Germany squad in this year’s tournament.

Argentina was not a dominant side early in the tournament, but they have been picking up momentum as the World Cup has progressed.

On Sunday, they will look to put together their best performance — and they will need it.

Germany has looked like an unstoppable machine, but Lionel Messi is ready to lead the Argentina attack to victory on the soil of rival Brazil.

In today’s match, Germany is the designated home team and will be wearing their white kits.

While it means Argentina will not be wearing their traditional vertically striped kit, we do get to see the rarely used but still impressive all navy kits with the horizontal stripes.
