2013 certainly was a season to remember for the Florida State Seminoles. Mostly for good reason, but also for a few bad. Most of the bad had to do with Heisman winning quarterback Jameis Winston.

Since last season, things do not seem to be getting any better for the embattled quarterback. The Seminoles are not destroying everything in their path like they did last year en route to a National Championship. And Jameis Winston has been in the news for off the field matters a couple of times since the end of last season.

Thankfully, none of these have been as serious as the allegations from last season.

One of these incidents got him suspended for the first half of this weekend’s game against number 22 Clemson. Don’t think Las Vegas hasn’t noticed. The Seminoles are only two touchdown favorites now after the line reached as high as 24 points.

This has prompted a website to start keeping track of the amount of time that has elapsed since Jameis Winston’s last mistake.

It reads like this:

It has been:

(elapsed time)

….since Jameis Winston has done something stupid

Of course, this time has to be unofficial. There is also a link on the page to report new incidents regarding Jameis Winston so they can keep a more accurate time.

As funny as this may be, it also shows just how tragic being an athlete in today’s social media fueled world can be. We must remember that Winston is still only 20 years old. How many of us did stupid things at age 20? While I would guess that most of us were never accused of sexual assault or walked out of a grocery store without paying for something, I would venture that a large number of us got up at a party or a club and shouted something insensitive when we were inebriated.

As far as things go, this is a pretty minor offense.

Still, the clock keeps ticking….
