With Hue Jackson, the playbook knows no limit.

Last week against the Atlanta Falcons, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu hit Brandon Tate for a beautiful deep pass out of a wide receiver reverse. This week, against the Tennessee Titans, the wide receivers target in the air was … you guessed it, quarterback Andy Dalton who “Moss’d” a Titans defender before running it in for a touchdown.

These trick plays won’t work every game as defensive coordinators will surely adjust to them, but for now, Mohamed Sanu is a made man at quarterback. This pass to Dalton makes for the second of his career, the first coming last season.

More importantly, Dalton showed some solid wide receiving skills. There are some full-time receivers in the league who struggle in one-on-one jump ball situations against defensive backs, but Dalton handle the situation like a 10-year pro — the defender poorly reading the ball (couldn’t decide between hitting Dalton and interception the ball) helped him out.

Fun Fact: this receiving touchdown by Dalton means he has more than Larry Fitzgerald, Victor Cruz, Andre Johnson, Jason Witten, Reggie Wayne and many other top quarterbacks in the league.

Up 12 – 0 over the Titans, the Bengals look to have momentum as they near closer to the half mark.
