The best reaction of the night to Kris Jenkins’ shot goes to the students packed at the Villanova Pavilion.

Kris Jenkins’ tournament-winning buzzer beater will go down in history as the best March Madness shot of all-time (although had Gordon Hayward’s half-court shot gone in, it would’ve been second best). By now, you’ve seen the student section in Houston lose their mind, and also the local Villanova broadcast. Those were all great, but the reaction that takes the cake has to be the students that packed the Pavilion to see the game.

Watch as the fans slowly descend into madness:

It’s always a momentous occasion when your team wins a national title, but for most of the students, they weren’t alive when the Wildcats won their first championship in 1985.

After so many years of Villanova being consistently good in the regular season only to be futile in the Tournament, their success finally carried over and they were deserving winners this year. A lot of the fan reaction had to be built-up frustration from their school being labeled as chokers for so many years in a row. However, you have to envy whoever is in charge of cleaning up the Pavilion after this.
