I don’t really understand why NBA players wear hats with opposing teams logos on them.

Maybe Ty Lawson was just trying to be “fashionable” or maybe he was taking the news of former Nuggets general manager

Masai Ujiri, who left to head the Raptors last week, pretty hard.

Either way, the former North Carolina Tarheel took the stage during KS 107.5’s Summer Jam concert this weekend rocking a Toronto Raptors lid, much to the disapproval of Nuggets nation.

Per Beyond The Buzzer:

"Nuggets’ Ty Lawson hit up the KS 107.5 Summer Jam concert on Friday night in Denver…wearing a Toronto Raptors hat."

It was unlikely there was any motive behind the move (though, the Ujiri decision may hold some merit) but it’ll be a lesson learned and something Lawson most likely wont do again.

You can see Lawson’s lid below, as well as the Nugget point guard watching 2 Chainz perform.

Ironically enough, just a few days after this performance, 2 Chainz was robbed at gun point which leads me to believe he’s no Chainz now.
