Has Kevin Love already mentally checked out from being a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves?

Seems a little odd to suggest, though, Love’s a pretty sharp guy and when he was pressed about his current team by Aja Dang of FOX Sports recently, he decided to talk about the Timberwolves as if he wasn’t even on the roster, referencing them as ‘they’.
“If they’re healthy, they can do a lot of damage,” Love said. “With Flip as the coach — kinda been there, done that, in the Eastern Conference and in the Western Conference, having seen and really played all sides in the basketball world, I think he’s going to do a great job.”
When you ask Kobe Bryant about the Los Angeles Lakers, you get a ‘we’ answer. When you ask Tim Duncan about the San Antonio Spurs, you get a ‘we’ answer. When you ask LeBron James about the Miami Heat, you get a ‘we’ answer. Was it just a simple slip of the tongue by Love? Completely possible as he was answering a question about the team, but he is their best player and he is still a member of their roster so you’d think he’d consider himself part of the organization and answer accordingly.
Of course, it could have been calculated on Love’s part as well as members of the front office would be sure to take notice of the quote.
For what it’s worth, Love, despite the odd reference, did suggest that he and new coach Flip Saunders do have a good relationship.
