While many may be hoping the Miami Heat’s ‘Big 3’ is playing their final few (and possibly last) game together, forward Chris Bosh has a message for the haters – too bad.

More from LeBron James

Bosh, who has essentially played the third wheel role behind LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in recent years has been more than adamant about his desire to return to South Beach and he’s apparently speaking for all parties involved, suggesting that the Heat aren’t going anywhere according to Michael Wallace.

Bosh: “It’s not ending tonight.” Said there’s been no discussion among Big 3 about if it ends tonight. “We’ll be here forever.”

Somewhere there’s a joke to be made about Bosh’s dinosaur appearance and the whole ‘forever’ thing, but I’ll leave that to the professionals.

As for Bosh’s declaration that the Heat aren’t breaking up, while it’s probably true, it’s not Bosh’s final decision to make and what comes of LeBron James’ potential free agency will determine what happens with the Heat.

Simply put, if James does shock the world and decides to depart the Heat in free agency, it’s very possible Bosh and Wade may also opt to do so given the Heat aren’t contenders without James. All that said, it’s incredibly difficult to believe LeBron would even entertain the thought of leaving his current franchise considering (despite a possible Finals loss) they’re routinely among the best team in the league, play in one of the most beautiful cities in America and have etched themselves into NBA history.

Of course, James could always look for a new challenge but it seems as if Bosh’s proclamation is likely to ring true.
