There seem to be a lot of teams in the NBA ready to give up basically everything they have in a trade to land Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love before he pursues free agency this summer, although his new head coach, Flip Saunders, may not be ready to oblige them just yet.

More from Minnesota Timberwolves

According to a report from Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Saunders, who recently named himself the head coach of the team despite being the man in charge of the organization, isn’t ready to make a blockbuster deal that would shake up the landscape of the league.

Well, just not right now, at the moment.

Of course, everyone expects that Love will be dealt at some point, but that doesn’t mean that Saunders can’t make a last-ditch effort to see if he can keep his star in town. It might be the unlikeliest of scenarios at this point, but still plausible nonetheless.

One of the more recent intriguing trade proposals involves the Golden State Warriors, who apparently are ready to part ways with one of their own stars, Klay Thompson, in an effort to get Love to come back out to his home state of California and help the team get over the playoff hump.
