As a new drug policy was put together and passed in recent weeks, one with a number of necessary updates, Gordon and a number of other NFL players saw the possibility of reduced or wiped out suspensions.
In the cases of guys like Wes Welker and Orlando Scandrick, those players are eligible to return immediately. That has been understood for a while now. As for Gordon, his suspension was reportedly going to be reduced, but some uncertainty lingered from there.
It was reported earlier this week that Gordon’s suspension would be reduced to 10 games, and now we have finally have confirmation that will officially be the case.
Per Jason La Canfora:
So there it is. Finally, officially, Gordon will be suspended 10 games. Now you can go argue with your buddies about the merits of stashing him on the bench of your fantasy football team.
