It’s pretty safe to assume that basketball is working out pretty well for Kevin Durant. But if the Oklahoma City Thunder star ever feels like hanging up the sneakers early, he may have a job awaiting him on the gridiron.

More from Kevin Durant

A huge football fan, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder is often seen supporting his Washington Redskins and apparently does the same for his high school as the 2013-14 NBA MVP took in some Friday Night Lights. More than that, Durant decided he’d show off some of his skills in the process.

Wearing nothing more than a pair of sneakers, Durant scrambled (if you want to call it that) out of his make believe pocket and fired off a spiral to an awaiting friend while the crowd cheered in the background.

Along with the video, Durant posted the following caption:

"I can go 20-25 for 316 and 4 touchdowns. What u think?"

Look at that – Kevin Durant is even humble, suggesting he’d misfire on five passes.

In all seriousness, Durant’s pass looked really nice as did his footwork. Granted, he’d need to add about 75 pounds if he ever decided to lace up some cleats on an NFL field but I’m guessing he’s content being one of the best basketball players in the world.

Now all we need is to have Durant throw a touchdown pass to LeBron James, who has routinely flirted with the idea of eventually playing in the NFL.
