What’s a man to do when you’ve put in too many hours of practice? Most would probably go home and hit the shower, but not Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

Nope, the boyfriend of ‘rapper’ Iggy Azalea decided he’d show off his romantic side and unleashed a love-filled poetry verse as his teammates finished up their practice round in the distance.

Apparently having nothing better to do (and unable to leave the Lakers’ practice facility), Nick Young morphed into his infamous ‘Swaggy P’ and became smooth as butter as he eyed down the camera with his poetic verse.

Can you imagine what Kobe Bryant was thinking when he saw this? Don’t get me wrong, Kobe certainly isn’t against having fun, but the guy is an animal at practice while Nick Young (who’s making rookies on the Los Angeles Lakers call him ‘Swag Daddy’) decided to replicate his best Def Poetry Jam.

Thankfully Nick didn’t get too carried away with the whole poetry thing. Oh wait, yes he did.

All jokes (and potential Kobe Bryant irritation) aside, you need a player or two like Nick Young to keep things loose in the Los Angeles Lakers locker room. Granted, it can be a bit frustrating at times if they don’t know when to stop with the jokes, but there’s nothing wrong having a little fun at practice.

I do wish Nick would make a poem about his infamous air ball though. That would be epic.
