After the San Francisco 49ers squeaked out a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon, former player and current analyst Deion Sanders suggested that 49er players have essentially grown tired of playing under Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh can at times be a bit gruff and it’s previously been suggested his relationship with the front office/ownership is strained, though the San Francisco 49ers head coach is having none of Deion Sanders’ comments. In fact, Harbaugh responded to Sanders and suggested his opinion was a ‘bunch of crap’.

At this point it’s difficult to tell where exactly the truth lies, though somewhere in the middle is likely correct.

Hate him or love him, Jim Harbaugh is part of the season the San Francisco 49ers have made an appearance in three-straight NFC Championship games and is thought to be one of the best coaches/motivators in the league. Yes, he can piss people off and he seems to have worked some of that magic on the 49ers roster but do they really not want to play for him?

Such a sentiment does seem a bit over the top though Deion Sanders is friends with many current NFL players and it doesn’t seem like something he’s randomly pull out of the air either.
