Treon Harris has been reinstated to the University of Florida but the Gators freshman quarterback will not play against the LSU Tigers on Saturday
Florida Gators true freshman quarterback Treon Harris had the sexual battery complaint against him dropped on Friday afternoon by his accusser which resulted in the university and the UAA lifting his suspension, but he won’t play for Florida on Saturday against LSU.

Harris relieved Jeff Driskel in last week’s 10-9 win against the Tennessee Volunteers when he led the Gators to two scoring drives in the fourth quarter to erase a 9-0 deficit against their SEC east foes.
Had Harris not been suspended and accused of this crime he very well may have been the starter against LSU, or in the very least been a part of a two-quarterback rotation with Driskel against the 4-2 Tigers of LSU who have lost two straight.
However, despite his clearance he will not play after missing a week of practice and meetings.
