It’s shaping up to be a great week of football in the NFL today with some top teams facing off in games that will determine who’s in the playoff hunt, who’s in poll position, and who can start planning for next year.  It’s also a big week for fantasy owners as we come down to the last few weeks of most leagues’ regular season.  Congratulation if you’re still in the hunt, but either way make sure to get your best team on the field.  To help in assembling your lineup, check out these fantasy football Week 11 sleepers as well as some start/sit advice at each position. If you need roster-specific answers, follow @FansidedFantasy on twitter and ask your question there. I’ll do my best to make sure you get an answer as soon as possible and definitely by the 1:00 kickoffs.

Getting your best players in the best situation to produce is always a key to fantasy success although the strategy of playing matchups can be taken to the extreme as well.  Pinpointing favorable matchups to attack and unfavorable ones to avoid can pay off, but you don’t want to sit down normally productive players for players who are too high risk and may leave you regretting overthinking it.

Each week in the beginning of this column I also include this  disclaimer–these start/sit recommendations are not absolute.  If you don’t have a comparable replacement due to a roster crunch, sometimes you are forced to go with a player in a bad matchup. It’s important to understand the matchups, but don’t go overboard. If you’re on the fence, go with your gut or get some further advice on twitter.

Another part of this post each week is our weekly sleeper picks. These players could have a big week despite being fairly lowly ranked in one-week salary leagues and still available in many season-long leagues.  They are truly sleepers and shouldn’t be started except in case of emergency, but they represent a significant gamble that does carry legitimate upside. At the very least, these players should be monitored for future consideration.
