Paging Johnny Manziel, paging Johnny Manziel, the Cleveland Browns may need you at quarterback immediately.
Okay, maybe it’s not that bad, though current signal caller Brian Hoyer probably had his life flash before his eyes during the Browns tilt against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.
With the pocket collapsing on Hoyer, the quarterback slid to his left in hopes of extending the play. It proved to be a good decision at first as the Browns quarterback appeared to miss two potential sacks. Of course, looking back on it now Hoyer probably wishes he would have remained in the pocket because just after avoiding the two sacks the quarterback was plastered by a Bills defender.
Seriously, this is like semi-truck running over a baby rabbit type carnage.
Look at the way Brian Hoyer’s body snaps back on impact.
I’m no chiropractor nor did I stay at a special hotel last night but I’m pretty sure that is going to cause some pain on Monday morning. To make matters worse for the Cleveland Browns quarterback, Brian Hoyer will have to fly home considering the game was played in Buffalo which will lead to his body swelling up in the air. Probably not a good combination considering how badly he was obliterated on that hit.
How Hoyer even got to his feet after that blast is beyond me as I’d have been calling for stretches and likely a casket to put me out of my misery.
Thankfully it doesn’t appear that Brian Hoyer suffered any significant damage to anything other than his pride, but goodness that was nasty.
