Just when you thought the New York Knicks situation couldn’t get any worse, J.R. Smith makes sure to raise the embarrassment to another level.
Earlier in the week there were allegations suggesting that Carmelo Anthony threatened to fight teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. and now during the Knicks’ loss on Wednesday, everybody’s favorite knucklehead J.R. Smith was liking photos of models on Instagram – during the game.
Fans caught Smith, who was sitting out the game, playing around on social media and uploaded the proof to Twitter.
All the free time J.R. Smith has to play around on Instagram and look at beautiful women and he decides to do it during the game? Of course, it’s doubtful many are shocked and it seems rather par for the course regarding the behavior of Smith, who continues to hear his name involved in trade rumors. It’s doubtful his recent blunder would impact such talks, though it’s yet another black eye on his resume which isn’t exactly looking very promising to those interested in obtaining his services. On the flip side, it appears J.R. Smith does have pretty good taste as this is one of the women Smith liked on Instagram.
The loss dropped the New York Knicks to a woeful 4-20 and an already volatile situation appears to be getting worse by the day in the Big Apple.
