Cincinnati Bengals’ receiver A.J. Green is back at practice getting ready for Sunday’s game against Indianapolis
The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to pick up their first postseason victory in 24 years when they face the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round of the playoffs Sunday.

After being dismantled by Indianapolis, 27-0, when the two teams met earlier this year, it’s going to take a full team effort for the Bengals to exorcise their postseason demons.
The good news for Cincinnati is star receiver A.J. Green is back at practice.
Green suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night and missed yesterday’s practice. Playing without Green in the lineup would have been a huge disadvantage for the Bengals and would have limited their game plan offensively.
The University of Georgia product has been the Bengals and quarterback Andy Dalton’s go-to-guy since entering the league in 2011.
Earlier this week, Marvin Lewis said he didn’t want the players focusing on past playoff failures, especially when being questioned by the media, but rather to focus on the game ahead. With 24 years since a playoff victory, it’s easy to see why some players might get caught up in the lack of postseason success in Cincinnati.
Getting Green back will make it a lot easier to think about Sunday than worrying about what might be the next playoff loss.
Green led all Cincinnati receivers this year with 1041 receiving yard on 69 catches to go with six touchdowns. Cincinnati has lost three straight years in the wildcard round of the playoffs and they don’t want to make it four in a row.
