Who will be the next head coach of the Denver Broncos? According to the folks in Las Vegas, Gary Kubiak is the favorite to take the job.

The Denver Broncos made the tough decision to part ways with head coach John Fox on Monday, following the team’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts which eliminated them from the NFL Playoffs.

Now, with an aging quarterback who has injury concerns, key free agents like wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and tight end Julius Thomas, the team finds themselves without a coach leading the team and providing input on very difficult decisions.

That doesn’t mean there are not candidates, however.

One man who is believed to be a strong favorite to get the job — in the eyes of the folks in Las Vegas — is former Houston Texans head coach and current Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak.

Kubiak is also very familiar with the Broncos, having served as the team’s offensive coordinator for a decade from 1995-2005. Now, he could return to the team in an effort to get them over the hump.

Another strong candidate is former Broncos and Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan, along with current Broncos coordinators Adam Gase and Jack Del Rio.

There are plenty of decisions ahead for the Broncos, but first they will need to name a head coach before they can take the next step forward.

So, who other than Gary Kubiak is considered a candidate to replace John Fox with the Broncos? The full breakdown of the odds can be seen below, via Bovada.lv:

  • Gary Kubiak                              5/2
