The Cincinnati Bengals played their own April Fool’s Joke on their fans and their rivals up north, the Cleveland Browns.
The Bengals website revealed that the team had new logos for the upcoming season.
The logos were the same, but rather a different shade of orange, which was a playful jab at the Browns, whose logos faced much criticism after barely changing at all.
"The new updated logo for the Cincinnati Bengals gives a nod to players of the past while looking forward to things to come. The iconic orange of the helmet and logo has been energized with a bright, vivid orange. The new color pops against the contrasting black of the classic Bengals stripes."
"The changes for 2015 are extremely subtle, but the impact will be huge. We cannot wait to showcase the new changes in The Jungle this year! WHO DEY!"
Finally, the team admitted that it was one big April Fool’s Joke.
So while people were out playing shenanigans on their friends and family, the Bengals were playing pranks on their fans.
