With the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft the Cincinnati Bengals drafted Texas A&M offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi.

The Cincinnati Bengals have been in the playoffs four years in a row and five of the last six years, but they are still looking for their first postseason win since the 1990 Wild Card game against the Houston Oilers. It was so long ago that the Houston Oilers don’t even exist anymore, having relocated the franchise to Tennessee.

They hope to continue the postseason streak alive in 2015 but hope to snap the win drought and hope their first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft will be the guy to push them over the top. Last year, the Bengals drafted Thorpe Award winner Darqueze Dennard out of Michigan State and struck gold in the second round when they took Jeremy Hill out of LSU.

Together that pair should help Cincinnati moving forward as will this year’s first round pick, Cedric Ogbuehi out of Tezas A&M. Ogbuehi was projected to be a high first round pick entering the season but tore his ACL in the team’s bowl game but can play left or right tackle and either guard spot.

He has great feet and long arms but he’s still a work in progress and he has an injury that could limit his availability in his rookie season. With Andrew Whitworth 34 years old and entering the final year of his contract, maybe Ogbuehi takes a redshirt year and makes his biggest impact beginning in 2016.
