Answering the question, when is the United States women’s national team’s first game in the 2015 Women’s World Cup.

The United States women’s national team will be playing in the 2015 Women’s World Cup and have a pretty solid chance to win the tournament. For those of you who enjoyed the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, continue your fandom by supporting the USWNT and you might actually see the United States win a trophy in soccer.

The road won’t be easy, the USWNT landed in the Group of Death with three teams ranked in the top 10. The United States are the No. 2 team in the world, Sweden is ranked 5th and Australia is ranked 10th.

The United States will play Australia first, on June 8th in Winnipeg. They follow that game with a match against Sweden. That leaves the lowest ranked group for last for the USWNT, which could prove out to be beneficial if points are tight going into the final game of the group stage.
