A definitive guide to disrespect in the NBA

facebooktwitterreddit

We at Fastbreak Breakfast are very concerned with decorum in all fields, particularly those relating to NBA etiquette. So we have convened for a brand new episode to cover some sensitive topics relating to Troy Daniels, DeMarcus Cousins, Denzel Valentine and others whose behavior may have rubbed people the wrong way.

This episode should also provide useful for entertainment for those hunkered down during snowstorms in the Northwest, rain drizzles in Southern California or unseasonably warm January days in Tennessee activating raging allergy attacks. Either way, we hope you will join us for an informative way to start your long weekend (assuming you guys don’t work on Fridays either).

TIME STAMPS:

  • 9:00 Did Troy Daniels disrespect the Oklahoma City Thunder by shooting too many 3-pointers, as accused by Andre Roberson? Is a 10th man even capable of disrespect?
  • 10:30 Does Chuck (@themightychuck) have anything he needs to say to Carmelo Anthony?
  • 14:15 How do we get our hands on the rumored DeMarcus Cousins R&B record?
  • 16:45 Rajon Rondo bobblehead night wasn’t awkward, was it?
  • 19:30 Was it more or less awkward than Sacramento Kings beat reporters telling Boogie to his face that they wished he wasn’t on the team?
  • 22:00 Revisiting the Memphis Grizzlies’ massive comeback against the Golden State Warriors. Related: Tony Allen is very active on Periscope now
  • 28:00 The story of the New Orleans Pelicans stealing a twitter account from Pelicans blogger (and friend of the show) Mason Ginsberg (@masonginsberg).
  • 32:50 Lebron James apparently doesn’t enjoy visiting Utah.
  • 38:00 Even if the Atlanta Hawks are not actively shopping Paul Millsap (your move Toronto) would it make sense for them to trade him for future assets?
