After months of anticipation, speculation and fluctuation, WWE WrestleMania 33 is ready to go. The biggest pay-per-view show of the year has the card to play the part, in addition to all the bells and whistles to help give the event that type of feel. Even that biggest smarks on the planet tend to let their guard down (at least a bit) for WrestleMania. Put simply, it’s special in a way that few shows in any company or sport are.
There have been plenty of complaints about the main event of WWE WrestleMania 33, considering it features two part-timers—one of which is over-the-hill. Goldberg will defend the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in the main event. While it may not ultimately be an exciting match, it’s going to be a spectacle. And, for all the booking crap that the company takes from fans, they’ve set up a good story for this match.
However, the real greatness at WWE WrestleMania 33 should come below that match on the card. The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton, Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles and Seth Rollins vs. Triple H all have a chance to be something truly special. What’s more, the two Women’s Championship matches could be phenomenal, and so too could the RAW Tag Team Championship Ladder Match.

No matter what happens at WWE WrestleMania 33, it’ll undoubtedly be a show that fans won’t soon forget. There’s too much star power and potential for that to not be the result. Let’s just hope it not only meets expectations, but exceeds them.
