Leonard Fournette didn’t hold back and clearly took a bit of a shot at his former quarterbacks in Jacksonville.

If Gardner Minshew or Blake Bortles need some motivation, their former teammate on the Jacksonville Jaguars just provided it. Now that he’s with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Leonard Fournette is enjoying live receiving handoffs from future Hall of Famer Tom Brady.

Fournette is having so much fun in fact, he felt the need to give Brady quite the compliment, while throwing Minshew and Bortles under the bus at the same time. Yup, Fournette suiting up next to Brady makes him feel like for the first time in his career that he’s actually got a quarterback to play with.

Gardner Minshew and Blake Bortles surely won’t like seeing what Leonard Fournette had to say

On top of Minshew and Bortles, Nick Foles probably is a little annoyed seeing Fournette’s latest quote too, especially after he lost the battle in Chicago to Mitchell Trubisky for the Bears starting spot.

While Fournette was obviously trying to show Brady some love, he also brought down Minshew and Bortles in the process. For Minshew, he’s getting ready to start his first campaign as Jacksonville’s starter. As a rookie last year, he impressed in relief of Foles, as he threw for 3,271 yards and 21 touchdown in 14 games, 12 of which he started.

Bortles really never lived up to his massive hype coming out of Central Florida. Despite helping the team get to the AFC Championship Game in 2017, Bortles couldn’t hang on to his starting job the following year and is currently a free agent.

No one will ever compare Minshew and Bortles to Brady, and Fournette made sure to let the world know they’d have no reason to with his latest comments.
