Clemson dropped the perfect hype video ahead of Saturday’s season-opener vs. The Citadel featuring the All-American backfield of Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne.

The Clemson Tigers are the top-ranked team in college football and begin the 2020 season this Saturday on the road against Wake Forest. This also kicks off Trevor Lawrence’s journey toward proving he deserves to be the top quarterback selected in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Tigers are already a title contender with Lawrence at quarterback. Getting do-it-all running back Travis Etienne for another season makes the team nearly unstoppable.

Etienne decided to return to Clemson for one more year and enters 2020 coming off two consecutive seasons with at least 1,600 rushing yards. The hype is real even in this bizarre season and those in charge of social media at Clemson released a perfect hype video to get fans excited for Saturday.

Clemson’s All-American backfield may not play much beyond halftime in the season-opener but it’ll be nice to see Lawrence and Etienne back on the field

The Tigers should be able to roll through their schedule. The only ranked opponent is Notre Dame and that matchup comes in November. However, that could change considering the rankings reflect teams who are not playing games this fall.

Lawrence threw for 3,665 yards and 36 touchdowns in 15 games last season. He also added 563 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground.

Etienne had 1,614 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns, while also adding 432 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions to give him over 2,000 yards on the year.

Both players stand out as top NFL prospects and teams will get to see them work together in 2020. The hype is already built-in and the video just reminds everyone the season is finally here after so many questions about if it would happen at all.

dark. Next. Trevor Lawrence wants to set example for younger generation
