Joe Haden has tweeted that he is alright after a scary car crash.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have roared out to a 10-0 start, and a veteran defense led by one of the NFL’s best cornerbacks in Joe Haden is the main reason as to why. As they look forward to Sunday followed their postponed divisional game against the Baltimore Ravens, the Steelers narrowly escaped some extremely tragic news related to Haden.

Haden was involved in a pile-up that completely smashed up the right side of his car. Luckily for the Steelers DB, he has escaped without any injuries, and he’s counting his blessings after he ended up, fortunately, coming out of this unscathed.

The Steelers will lean on Joe Haden as they chase a perfect season

After spending the first seven seasons of his career with the Cleveland Browns, making two Pro Bowls along the way despite playing on plenty of bad teams that never made it to the postseason, Haden made the switch to Pittsburgh in 2017, and he has keyed a huge defensive turnaround in the years since. Haden has picked off nine passes in the last four years, and he could be well on his way to a second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance in 2020.

The Steelers were once a laughable pass defense, a fact that prevented from getting over the Tom Brady hump in the postseason during the middle part of the last decade. However, with TJ Watt harassing quarterbacks into throwing poor passes in the direction of either Haden or Minkah Fitzpatrick, Mike Tomlin has an undefeated team capable of winning a championship on his hands.

Fans of all 32 teams can breathe a sigh of relief, as one of the game’s best defensive backs managed to walk away from this frightening incident with only a few bumps and bruises.
