What bowl game will the Wisconsin football team wind up in? Here’s where the Badgers might end up and who their opponent could be.

After a few rough weeks early on, the Wisconsin Badgers have bounced back and are very clearly capable of competing against a tough opponent in a bowl game. Wisconsin started off the year with three losses in its first four games. The Badgers responded by simply buckling down and winning seven games prior to their matchup against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Now that it’s more than clear that the Badgers will be in a pretty good bowl game this year, where will Wisconsin end up this bowl season? Who will the Badgers face off against?

Wisconsin Bowl Projections: Badgers projected to face Kentucky in Outback Bowl

According to Brett McMurphy of the Action Network, the Badgers might get the opportunity to meet up with an SEC team. In McMurphy’s latest bowl projections for the 2021 season, Wisconsin could just get the chance to face the Texas A&M Aggies in the Citrus Bowl.

However, those projections were before Wisconsin lost to Minnesota and were eliminated from the Big Ten West race. With Iowa winning the West, Wisconsin may have to settle for an Outback Bowl bid against Kentucky.

That’s still not bad for a team that started the season at 1-3. With the way the Badgers responded to their early struggles, it’s clear that they’ve got a pretty good team.
