Looking at US Open future locations for the 2024, 2025, 2026 tournaments and beyond that after playing at Los Angeles Country Club in 2023.

However, the location of the national championship in America has fans buzzing too as it’s the first time that LACC has been used in major competition since World War II.

Since the USGA announced that their flagship tournament would be going to Los Angeles Country Club, it has made golf fans want to see more relatively unknown or less-seen courses in US Open competition. Subsequently, that has many fans wondering about the future of golf’s third major on the calendar and, specifically, about US Open future locations.

So let’s take look at the the US Open locations for 2024 after LACC while also going even further into 2025, 2026 and well beyond even that.

There are some gaps that still need to be filled in by the USGA, starting in 2031, but there are a lot of future sites for the US Open that have already been announced. There will be frequent stops at Pinehurst No. 2 — every five years, roughly, until 2047 — in addition to Pebble Beach Golf Links and Oakmont also being visited frequently.

It’ll be interesting to see what other courses are added to this rota moving forward, but the hope that we’ll be able to see some other hidden gems like LACC as we move through the future of the US Open.
