John Crist is a veteran reporter, columnist and feature writer in football circles, having handled the day-to-day beat of both the Chicago Bears and Florida State Seminoles. A former voter for the Heisman Trophy, he has covered every pigskin-related event from National Signing Day to the Super Bowl. He is now a dedicated CrossFit athlete since his days as a ballplayer are long gone. A Chicagoan at heart, he currently lives in Tampa with his wife, son and two beagles.
