He has a long-time family connection with East London: His sixth great-grandparents were married at St. Dunstan & All Saints Church, not far from Upton Park. He has more than 30 years of experience as a professional content creator. He began his journalism career covering UCLA men’s soccer during the Sigi Schmid era. He also worked as a sportswriter for the Los Angles Times and Los Angeles Daily News. He’s been following European soccer since 2001 and has traveled extensively throughout Europe.
