The San Francisco 49ers can breathe easy after a win at home over the Philadelphia Eagles. Where a loss would have dropped the team to 1-3 in the tight NFC West, a win gives the team breathing room in an effort to catch up with the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks.

Maybe now everyone can relax and stop wondering if 49ers players and coaches alike are at each others throats. At least, that’s what GM Trent Baalke is hoping.

“All I know is this team is fully committed, everybody from the head coach on down, we’re all in, and we’re all in it together,” Baalke told host Damon Bruce on 95.7 The Game, via the San Jose Mercury News. “We’ve got to continue to grind. It’s not winning games in the National Football League.”

Rumors have surfaced of late that 49ers players are fed up with coach Jim Harbaugh, who is also rumored to be eyeing up jobs elsewhere. Nothing was doing with Baalke though, who staunchly refused to buy into any of that talk, citing the lack of reputable sources.
