Bill Self’s team overcame a halftime deficit to throttle the No. 10 Miami Hurricanes to win the Midwest Regional Final Sunday afternoon. Kansas vs. Villanova Final Four prediction

Even though the Wildcats have an extra day of rest over the Jayhawks, things could be very challenging for Wright’s team. They had been using a six-man rotation, but that will have to be altered after Justin Moore ruptured his Achilles in crunch time vs. Houston. This means players who would not otherwise be playing will have to be forced into action vs. the Jayhawks.

Though Self’s squad struggled mightily in the first half vs. Miami, the Jayhawks really turned it on in the second half to dismantle the Hurricanes fairly easily. After all, they were a No. 1 seed for a reason, and the only No. 1 seed still left in the tournament. Even if the Jayhawks have one fewer days to recover ahead of their date with the Wildcats, they are the ones who will be moving on.

Prediction: Kansas 75, Villanova 68.
