Remember the angry New York Knicks fan who went on a rant about a month ago? Well he is still upset with his Knicks and still ranting.
This time he has set his sites on guard J.R. Smith.
The Knicks lost a game to the Houston Rockets on Friday night, and Smith put up an ill-advised three-pointer with 19 seconds left in the game. He could’ve held on to let the clock wind down for an end of game shot, but he didn’t.
Rockets’ Aaron Brooks got the ball back and moved up the court. He was fouled and hit two free throws that ended up being the game-winning points.
“Honestly I thought we were down two when I shot the ball,” Smith said, via ESPN. “I started hearing Tyson (Chandler) say ‘No, no, no don’t take the shot.’ But at that point it was already released … it was just bad basketball IQ by me.”
He still hasn’t been spared the wrath of this angry fan. See his first rant here.
