NONE

Prediction:

The Irish are in a tailspin right now, and it started with the heartbreaking loss to Florida State on a penalty that negated the game winning touchdown. They lost their last four games, and struggled with an average Navy team. The Irish defense showed some cracks against North Carolina, but the floodgates opened after that. They gave up at least 30 points in every single game after that.

Meanwhile, the LSU defense was the only consistent thing about their season. Aside from getting blown out by Auburn, they were a force. That said, the offense gave up plenty of points to Auburn as well in that game. It was just an all around disaster for LSU. The problem for LSU was offense. Aside from Kentucky, they did not score more than 30 points against any major conference opponent.

The Notre Dame defense could make the LSU offense look very good. The Irish will likely be gashed by Leonard Fournette. The Tigers may not have to throw much, which could take a lot of pressure off of Anthony Jennings. To make matters worse, Notre Dame just does not have the speed on the defensive side of the ball to counteract the LSU offense. This could get ugly.

Pick: LSU
