A 2025 graduate from the University of Science and Arts Oklahoma, he wrote for the student newspaper The Trend where he covered the Drovers softball team. He regularly attended the softball scrimmages and home games as a student, and occasionally comes back to watch his alma mater. He also writes for Softball On SI.
