A 2025 graduate with a B.A. in English from the University of Science and Arts Oklahoma at Chickasha, he previously wrote for the student newspaper The Trend where he covered the Drovers softball team. He regularly attended the softball scrimmages and home games as a student on campus from 2021 to 2025. He lives in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
